Since the start of 2010, MAGNUS Investor Relations + Corporate Communication has spread its wings, securing new client mandates and soaring both interstate and overseas to work with its high-calibre list of clients.

Within one busy week this year, at least one member of the MAGNUS team was working in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Perth, Brisbane and/or Melbourne, as well as Sydney, to meet the needs of clients across the mining and resources, banking, financial services, and building and engineering sectors.

MAGNUS Managing Director, John Gardner, recently supported a site visit to Extract ResourcesRössing South uranium project in Namibia.

Along with Extract, John hosted 20 analysts, brokers and media personnel, giving them a hands-on tour of the site to personally witness the size, scope and potential of Extract’s world-class project from both the air and on the ground.

The tour then headed to the Mining Indaba 2010 conference in Cape Town, to promote and further demonstrate Extract’s commitment to becoming a world-class uranium miner, to an audience of international delegates.

Since the site visit and attendance at Mining Indaba, Extract has received a strong uplift in media coverage and awareness, with a focus on the scale, potential and world-class significance of the Rössing South project.

Meanwhile, MAGNUS welcomed Macquarie Telecom onto its client list in January, commencing investor relations work for the business telecommunications group.  MAGNUS has also been conducting strategic counsel for Hawkesbridge Private Equity and for national independent accounting firm, Taylor Woodings.
