Newly-formed specialist communication consultancy, MAGNUS Investor Relations & Corporate Communication, has signed an affiliate agreement with Hill & Knowlton, one of Australia’s leading communication consultancies.
The agreement allows both companies to draw on the expertise and resources of each other to meet the increasingly specialised needs of clients in today’s competitive business environment.
MAGNUS was formed this year to provide specialist investor relations, corporate and transaction communication services to companies with operations in Australia.
MAGNUS managing director, John Gardner, said research into the needs of investment bankers, corporate advisers and companies alike, had identified an opportunity to build a new breed of firm delivering outstanding results through long-term, trusted relationships in a typically shorter-term, transaction-oriented sector.
“We aim to provide a fresh alternative in the highly concentrated investor relations and corporate communication space. MAGNUS is taking a long-term view and will remain committed to building relationships based on integrity and excellence of service.”
Gardner said the opportunity to partner with Hill & Knowlton provided access to its experienced team, diverse skills and award-winning network of international offices, while maintaining its independence and boutique approach.
“Hill & Knowlton is a highly respected, global, public relations brand with a great track record of success in Australia,” said Gardner. “The opportunity to be affiliated with Hill & Knowlton is positive endorsement for what MAGNUS is hoping to achieve.”
Chief Executive of Hill & Knowlton Australasia, Michelle Hutton, said the affiliation agreement with MAGNUS extended the range of specialist services it could offer its extensive list of clients.
“The MAGNUS offer complements our existing client services and adds a new dimension of experience and thinking to our extended team,” Hutton said.
